The Anamaya clinic is a multidiscipline treatment centre situated in Kensington, London.
In a quiet mews house, Anamaya offers a broad range of treatments from highly skilled and experienced practitioners in fields as varied as Psychotherapy, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral, Massage, Dietetics and Energy Healing.
The brainchild of Graham Doke and Roz Sullivan, the Anamaya centre is a reaction to experiences in many over-busy modern treatment centres, which tend to be more stressful than healing, and rarely offer reassurance of quality.
Recognising that any treatment is only as good as the practitioner delivering it, Anamaya is stringent in its criteria for practitioners, and as a result has assembled a team of complimentary experts highly sought after in their field.
Anamaya recognises the value of the environment in assisting healing. The ambience is one of peace and tranquility, where clients are encouraged to spend time relaxing both before and after treatments. Its unique meditation room, equipped with state-of-the-art headphones, allows clients a chance to relax completely — meditating, listening to relaxing music, or reading.
The Anamaya app has its origins in the Anamaya clinic. Having designed a meditation course for its busy and stressful clients, Graham Doke was finding his clients asking for meditation support between weekly classes, and was finding his clients were stressing about fitting their de-stressing meditation into their busy weeks.
A world-class team of experts has contributed to Anamaya's self-development Modules. We invite you to learn more about them here.
After developing a successful career in law and investment banking, Graham underwent a damascene experience that led him to intensive study of eastern philosophy and eastern and western psychology.
Finding a special interest in the interrelationship of mind and body, he was drawn to the synthesis of ancient texts and philosophies from Tibet with modern neuroscience and physics.
This synthesis, and his background in the City, give Graham a unique understanding of and approach to the problems of modern living, and dealing with them.
As a mind/body specialist, he integrates meditation and mindfulness into his own bodywork programs, and has tailored programs with psychotherapists at Anamaya.
He has studied and practiced meditation extensively under a number of teachers over the years and is currently active in a 10-year retreat commitment at Songsten in France as a student of Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche.
Graham also works with athletes, and has travelled in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and across Europe to assist ultra-runners to success in some of the world’s toughest races.
He is a director and co-founder of the Anamaya clinic in Kensington, London. The Meditation Course and the Modules were all developed out of Graham's observation of what clients at the Anamaya clinic needed to help them cope with the pressure of modern life.
